Figure 15. Reversing Circuit Connection
A dynamic brake may be used when reversing the motor
direction (Figure 15). Use a three pole, three position
switch rated for at least the maximum DC armature voltage
and maximum braking current. Wait for the motor to stop
completely before switching it to either the forward or
reverse direction.
